Waiting a Long Time for Prom

When Helen Danis was a senior in high school, it was 1939. She skipped her Senior Prom, because her family couldn’t afford a dress, shoes, or even lipstick. So this year, her granddaughter and great-grandson took her to prom! At the age of 97, Helen was crowned the honorary prom queen!
