Ridding the Skies of Plastic

Air New Zealand wants to keep plastic out of landfills and oceans, by keeping single-use plastics out of the skies. The airline will begin using plant-based cups and reusable dishes instead of sauce packets. The changes will cut out 55,000,000 pieces of plastic, and reduce Air New Zealand’s carbon footprint by 10.3 million pounds per year.
