They Just Wanted Some Privacy

The silver-backed chevrotain, also known as the Vietnamese mouse deer, went missing for 30 years. No one had spotted one in the wild since 19 90, until the species was recently rediscovered! The rabbit-sized deer has tiny fangs and hooves, and lives in the forests of Vietnam. I’m glad they weren’t extinct!
