Touched The Sun and Lived to Tell the Tale

This year, NASA’s Parker Space Probe, accomplished an in credible feat. The spacecraft touched the Sun, and survived the heat! Parker flew through the Sun’s corona, taking measurements that scientists will study for years to come. The solar corona is around 2,000,000° Fahrenheit, so the solar probe was protected by powerful heat shielding.
