Baby Pink Pigeon Grows Up

A rare pink pigeon, has reached adulthood at the Paignton Zoo in England. At one point, only 9 pink pigeons remained in the wild, on the island of Mauritius. Conservation efforts brought the pigeons back from the brink of extinction. This is the first pink pigeon squab, to be hand-reared in a UK zoo.
