Massive Coral Has Been Growing for Centuries

Divers have discovered the world’s largest single coral colony, near the Solomon Islands. Scientists from the National Geographic Pristine Seas Initiative, estimate the coral could be 500 years old. It’s about the size of 5 tennis courts! The ocean floor is largely unexplored, so there may be even bigger corals out there.
