Get Ready for the Supermoon

December 3rd will be the last supermoon of 2017. A supermoon occurs when a full moon coincides with the moon’s perigee. The perigee is the point when the moon’s orbit brings it closest to Earth. Since it is closer than normal, it makes the moon look huge! Don’t forget to look for it this evening!
