Protect the Snot Otters

Pennsylvania has cast their votes for an official State Amphibian. The Eastern Hellbender salamander is the new aquatic ambassador! The giant nocturnal salamander grows over 2 feet long, and has loose wrinkly skin, covered in mucus. It’s also known as a lasagna lizard, mud devil, Allegheny alligator, devil dog, or snot otter! What awesome nicknames!
