Triangle Spider Uses Web Weapon

There’s a spider that uses its web, the same way we’d use a slingshot. The triangle spider slowly pulls its web back until it’s taut, then releases it to catch prey. Scientists call this method, power amplification. Stretching the web causes the force to be faster and more powerful. Too bad, Mr. Fly!
