The neural network AI had done a great job, generating photos of human faces, which were nearly indistinguishable from photos of real people. But the cat images often had too many legs or eyes, or weirdly-shaped bodies. It was a cat-tastrophe!

While Ryan Belcher was at the gym last week, he heard a car crash. He ran outside, and saw a man pinned beneath an overturned Jeep. 4 men were trying unsuccessfully, to move the car. But Ryan was able to lift the 2-ton vehicle, just enough to free the man! He’s a real-life Incredible Hulk!

Sometimes animals need human help. This week, a driver in Thailand stopped to rescue a kitten, stranded in the middle of speeding traffic. In Florida, firefighters chipped away to free a puppy, who’d gotten stuck in wet concrete. And in India, a reptile handler rescued a cobra, who was stuck in a beer can!

Emus are large flightless birds, that are primarily native to Australia. But an emu has been spotted in Pennsylvania, and no one in the area is missing one. The emu wandered into Maclean Lunko’s yard, and followed her around like a dog. The emu eluded police, so it apparently just wanted to say hi!
