16 year-old Braxton Moral is a master of efficiency. He is graduating from high school this year, a year early. But he’ll also be graduating from Harvard University 2 weeks later! In between attending high school, wrestling, and playing video games, Braxton was taking online college courses on the side. That’s one impressive schedule!

Tragic Loss of Doughnuts

When a Krispy Kreme Doughnut truck caught fire this week in Kentucky, the responding police officers played along with stereotypes, that say cops love doughnuts. They posted photos of themselves crying over the loss of such delicious pastries. Krispy Kreme sent consolation doughnuts to the police department the next day, to ease their loss.

Stop Hogging All the Blankets

Valery Larkin wanted to create the world’s largest knitted blanket, so she started Knitters of the World. People could donate hand-knitted blanket segments, and help set the record. The pieces came from 32 countries, and were assembled in Ireland. The final blanket measured 21,472 square feet, before being cut into smaller blankets, and donated to charity.

Game of Beetles

You might be able to guess, that entomologist Brett Radcliffe is a fan of the TV series, Game of Thrones. He discovered 3 new beetles, and their orange markings reminded him of fire, so he named them after dragons on the show. Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion are now immortalized as Gymnetis drogoni, rhaegali, and viserioni.
