Elk resemble deer, but they weigh 500-700 pounds and stand nearly 5 feet tall at the shoulder! Surviving the winter is hard work, so if you see any elk, don’t stress them out!

Last week, residents of Toledo Ohio, passed a law to help protect the lake from future chemical disasters, by granting it civil rights. The Great Lake will have the same rights as a person!

A pig in South Africa, that was saved from a livestock farm, has become a famous artist. The Farm Sanctuary SA, where she lives, discovered that Pigcasso loves to paint! Her artworks have raised over $145,000 for the sanctuary, and animal rights awareness. Pigcasso signs her paintings with an imprint of her snout!
