Yesterday’s launch of the Falcon Heavy rocket was a success! Two rocket boosters landed on Earth while the Falcon Heavy continued on to pass Mars and go into perpetual orbit around the sun. Inside the rocket is a space-suited mannequin in a Tesla Roadster with a Hot Wheels Roadster and “DON’T PANIC!” sign on the dashboard!

A baby sloth was born at the Denver Zoo last week. The parents, Charlotte Greenie and Elliot, have not revealed the name yet. Linnaeus’s two-toed sloths spend 15 to 20 hours a day sleeping and are nocturnal, which means they are active at night. Baby sloth will cling to its mom for 6 months!

Astrophysicists used gravitational microlensing to observe disturbances in light waves coming from a quasar 6 billion light years away. They discovered 2000 planets 3.8 billion light years away!
