That Was One Awesome Concert

A new world record for most mariachis performing simultaneously was set over the weekend, in Robstown, Texas. More than 800 musicians in 42 mariachi bands performed “Las Mañanitas” together. They had to be dressed in full mariachi garb, including sombreros, to beat the current record set in Mexico, where mariachi music originated.

Little Willand is Growing Up

The English village of Willand in Devon is rising up. The elevation of the entire town and surrounding fields, is growing by 2 centimeters every year! While the change is gradual and not really noticeable, it is baffling scientists. They can’t find any reason for the land to lift up! They’ll continue studying until they solve the mystery.
