A plane was delayed for 4 days at a Portuguese airport, after 132 hamsters escaped. They’d been in boxes in the cargo hold, along with ferrets and birds, on their way to a pet store. The hamsters posed a risk to the plane, because they might have chewed on wires, but were all safely recovered.
