Brittany introduced the Doberman Pinscher to the tiny kitten, named Ramblin’ Rose. Ruby was happy to start nursing Rose, right alongside her own 6 puppies!

A gang of goats was hired, to eat the weeds in Colorado’s Harlow Platts Park. The goats got loose from their pen, and started wandering the city of Boulder. Luckily, some high school students helped corral the goats, and kept them at a nearby school, to keep them out of trouble until help arrived.

Tucking the Glaciers In

Mount Titlis in the Swiss Alps, gets some help keeping cool during the summer. Employees at the ski resort spend over a month, covering up the mountain’s glaciers, with fleece blankets. The blankets, which cover an area the size of 14 football fields, reflect the sun’s rays, keeping the ice from melting so fast.

Red Pandas in the Bamboo

Are you ready for cuteness? It’s International Red Panda Day. Over 100 zoos worldwide will be celebrating, by creating Red Panda Rangers: children who spread the word about endangered red pandas. They are more like raccoons than pandas. But like giant pandas, red pandas love bamboo, which may explain why it’s also Bamboo Day.
