Zebras Everywhere

A week after zebras were reported, roaming neighborhoods in Maryland, 2 more zebras have been spotted in Wisconsin. The friendly zebras were walking down the middle of the road, so a driver stopped and guided them to a field. The Wisconsin zebras were soon returned home, but the Maryland zebras are still running free.

An Office Building that Floats

An office building in the Netherlands, doesn’t have much parking. That’s because it’s floating on water, in Rijnhaven Harbor. The structure, called Floating Office Rotterdam, is powered by solar panels. As sea levels rise, the building will rise as well. In a country that’s below sea level, floating buildings make good sense.

Jupiter’s Direct Hit

Some amateur astronomers who were watching Jupiter this week, recorded a brilliant flash on its surface. They were looking in the right place at the right time, to see a large object hit the planet, causing a bright light to flare up. Luckily, someone recorded it, giving us all a chance to see the impact.

Bakeries and Apple Dumplings

All the public pools may be closed for the year, but a family in Massachusetts still had their inflatable pool open for business. 3 bears visited their pool and playground, for a little fun. After the bears spent some time rough-housing in the pool, they climbed up the slide and played with the swings.

The first-ever all-tourist space crew, blasted off from Earth, in a SpaceX rocket. The Inspiration4 launched yesterday, carrying billionaire Jared Isaacman, physician’s assistant Hayley Arceneux, geologist and teacher Sian Proctor, and Lockheed Martin employee Chris Sembroski. They’ll spend 3 days in orbit, 350 miles above the planet, in their 13-foot-wide Crew Dragon capsule.
