Have you ever blown a bubble, inside another bubble? A man in Taiwan, is the soap bubble master. Chang Yu-Te blew 783 bubbles inside a larger bubble, to break the world record. That must’ve been hard to count! He also holds the record for the most bounces of a soap bubble, at 290.

Ancient Animal Art

When you draw on the walls, you probably get in trouble. But 45,500 years ago, someone drew a pig on a cave wall, and everyone loves it! The hairy pig with warts, was found in Indonesia, and is the oldest-known animal drawing. The oldest drawing of any kind, is over 73,000 years old.

Mississippi Magnolias

The state of Mississippi raised its new flag, over the state Capitol on Monday. The old design, which featured a Confederate flag used by the losing side in the US Civil War, was replaced with a magnolia flower, on a field of blue, red, and gold. State residents voted to change it last November.

Fruit Ninja Breaks Another Record

David Rush and Jonathan Hannon set their newest world record, slicing apples. David sliced apples in the air, while juggling 3 knives. Jonathan threw the fruit at David, who successfully sliced 21 apples in 30 seconds. Luckily, he also succeeded in slicing zero fingers off. They also set the 1-minute record of 40 sliced apples, last October.

Rescued From Flood By Floods

Last year, a family in Michigan lost their cat Olive, when their home was flooded. They were shocked to receive a call from the Humane Society months later, saying they had their cat! A couple with the last name of Flood, had found Olive! Luckily, she was microchipped, so they could find her family.

New Life for Old Chopsticks

Do you ever eat a meal with chopsticks? Unless you use them often, you probably use disposable chopsticks. Canadian student Felix Bock, formed ChopValue, a company that makes items like furniture, shelves, and cutting boards, out of used chopsticks. He asked Vancouver restaurants to add chopstick-recycling bins. 4 years later, ChopValue has already recycled 64,000,000 sticks!
