Sistine Chapel of the Ancients

An 8-mile stretch of rock in the Amazon rainforest, is an ancient art gallery. Tens of thousands of paintings cover cliff walls. The 12,500 year-old cave paintings, were recently discovered in Colombia. Some of the artwork depicts Ice Age creatures like the mastodon and giant ground sloths, dancing figures, and the handprints of Paleolithic hunters.

Rockhounding on the Moon

China’s Chang’e-5 space mission, launched last week, and successfully landed a spacecraft on the Moon yesterday. During China’s 6th lunar exploration mission, a robot will collect rock samples, from the Mons Rumker plain. Scientists believe the rocks will be much younger, than lunar samples from other areas of the Moon, indicating more recent volcanoes.

Today is Package Protection Day. As more people order products online, there are reports of deliveries disappearing. Security cameras have caught many porch thieves in action. Sometimes, the thief is an animal, like a bear. Human criminals should beware, because sometimes the package is a decoy, full of glitter and poop!

When you adopt a mutt puppy, you never know how big they’ll grow; you get to be surprised! It’s also Fritters Day. A French chef, made a cheese pizza. That might sound boring, until you realize he used 254 different kinds of cheese! Benoit Bruel made the cheesiest pizza ever, in France, a country known for its cheeses. The personal-size pizza had to hold a gram of each cheese, in order to break the world record.
