In a completely unrelated incident to the 5-foot long alligator captured in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania recently, another alligator was found on someone’s front porch. This one had escaped when a tree fell on its enclosure, and was safely rescued. In late May, an alligator had been discovered in a Pittsburgh park. Pennsylvania’s the new Florida!

You might have wondered if you were in The Wizard of Oz, if you’d seen a cow fly by in Alabama. But it was just a giant inflatable cow from Chick-fil-A, torn loose by strong winds. Savannah Wallace recorded the flying cow, which collided with a truck, then kept on moving down the street.

Every year, the residents of Ludington Michigan celebrate the coming summer, by trying to break a world record. Previous attempts include most people making simultaneous sand angels, longest line of moving bicycles, and longest ice cream dessert. This year, 1558 people gathered to eat a single serving of various desserts. That’s a sweet record!

Florida residents are used to seeing alligators wandering around their backyards and golf courses. But last week, a person in Pittsburgh, came across a 5 foot alligator while walking their dog! It’s a mystery why an alligator was in Pennsylvania, but animal control officers captured it and took it to safety at the Humane Rescue League.

The McDonald’s restaurants in Ontario Canada, said they’d give out free french fries, every time the Toronto Raptors hit 12 3-pointers in a game. Basketball players Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, have helped reach that goal in 54 games so far, costing McDonald’s 5.8 million dollars! They have home team fries. I mean pride!

KLM Airlines may have an unusual looking airplane in the future. The Dutch company is funding the development of a V-shaped plane, that would carry passengers in the wings! It will seat 314 people and need less fuel, due to its more aerodynamic shape, but will still have the same wingspan. Pretty cool!
