Florida residents are used to seeing alligators wandering around their backyards and golf courses. But last week, a person in Pittsburgh, came across a 5 foot alligator while walking their dog! It’s a mystery why an alligator was in Pennsylvania, but animal control officers captured it and took it to safety at the Humane Rescue League.

The McDonald’s restaurants in Ontario Canada, said they’d give out free french fries, every time the Toronto Raptors hit 12 3-pointers in a game. Basketball players Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, have helped reach that goal in 54 games so far, costing McDonald’s 5.8 million dollars! They have home team fries. I mean pride!

KLM Airlines may have an unusual looking airplane in the future. The Dutch company is funding the development of a V-shaped plane, that would carry passengers in the wings! It will seat 314 people and need less fuel, due to its more aerodynamic shape, but will still have the same wingspan. Pretty cool!

The UK supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, is starting their next phase towards getting rid of plastic. They’ll remove plastic bags from the bakery and produce sections. Customers can use reusable bags, or paper bags. The stores will also remove all plastic and styrofoam trays and cutlery. It’ll prevent the need for over 1200 tons of plastic!
