The Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago Illinois, welcomed a new baby. After 15 months of pregnancy, the rare black rhino, Kapuki, had a calf! The baby stood up when it was less than an hour old, and began nursing. The zoo won’t name the calf until they know whether it’s a boy or a girl.

6 years ago, Theokilitos Takis Proestakis found an injured dog at a garbage dump in Greece. Takis had the dog treated by a veterinarian before releasing him, then started bringing him food. Soon, Takis was feeding 70 stray dogs! He decided to open Takis Shelter on land near the dump, and has rescued over 1000 dogs!

David Jacobs had rented a house with a pool in Florida for a vacation. He’d noticed an alligator a lake near the home, but he didn’t expect to see it in the pool! The biggest surprise, was that the alligator was floating on an inflatable pool raft, shaped like an alligator! How cute!

9th grader Ja’shon Lambert has been impressing people with his Ironman suit. He wanted to make an outfit to wear to the Avengers Endgame movie, so he created a suit using cardboard and a hot glue gun! He layered cardboard pieces together for an amazing costume, but he’d better stay out of the rain!
