Last month, an African watusi steer visited a Petco, who allows any pet on a leash in the store. Not to be outdone, PetSmart allowed Jeffrey, an Arabian camel, to tour a store in Muskegon Michigan. Camels are not on the list of officially allowed animals, but Jeffrey was well-behaved, and everyone enjoyed him!

A bottle of perfume in Dubai, just set 3 new records. The most expensive perfume in the world, Shumukh, is made by Spirit of Dubai Parfums, and costs $1,295,000 per bottle. The world’s tallest remote-controlled perfume bottle rises up to 6 1/2 feet on a pedestal. It also has the most inset diamonds, with 3,571! I hope it smells good!

A surprised onlooker in Paris, filmed a shoe making a 3-point turn on a narrow street. It was a gigantic Nike shoe on wheels, with a person inside, driving it! It helped them make that 3-pointer, so maybe it was a basketball shoe. Or it could just be a running shoe, that literally runs!

A Newark New Jersey school, has kids eager to come back on the weekend. West Side High School’s Lights On program, gives students the opportunity to hang out at school, instead of on the violent streets. Principal Akbar Cook, organized activities with volunteers, and opened a laundry room. It has even improved attendance by 10%!

For the first time ever, scientists have obtained an image of a black hole. The Event Horizon Telescope captured the outline of the black hole, surrounded by an emission ring, in the center of galaxy M87. You can’t actually see a black hole; you just see the empty spot where everything got sucked in!

More people have been to the moon, than to the deepest spot in the ocean. Only 3 people have made it to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, over 36,000 feet down. The submarine had to withstand 15,750 pounds per square-inch. It’s Submarine Day, and the tiny Deepsea Challenger submarine is the only one strong enough!
