Don’t Crack the Giant Egg!

A town in Brazil has captured the world record for the largest decorated Easter egg. Over the course of 48 hours, during Osterfest, people assembled an egg in Santa Caterina, that was nearly 50 feet tall! It was painted in the style of artist Silvana Pujol, who painted eggs in every size, from hummingbird to ostrich!

Lemurs + Yoga = Lemoga

A hotel in England, is helping people de-stress with lemoga. That’s short for lemur yoga. Armathwaite Hall offers outdoor yoga classes, with a bunch of cute, stripey-tailed, fuzzy lemurs to keep you company, and show you their favorite yoga poses! The grounds are also home to meerkats, alpacas, and an eagle. Sign me up!

Crazy Condiments

It’s not an April Fools joke. Heinz is releasing 2 crazy new condiments. Kranch Saucy Sauce is a mixture of ketchup and ranch dressing, which sounds normal compared to the other one. It’s called Cadbury Creme Egg [Seriously] Good Mayo. It sounds weird, but maybe it’s delicious? You try it, and let me know.

Fox In a Fix

Animal rescuers in Britain helped an unlucky fox to freedom. The fox had gotten her head stuck in a plastic container, and was thrashing around, knocking into things. They were able to cut the plastic carefully to release her, and she returned to her den unharmed. Hooray!

A Flood of Shoe Donations

Payless Shoe Stores have been closing down, and selling off their inventory in clearance sales. One woman saw it as an opportunity, to help flood victims in Nebraska. Addy Tritt bought the entire remaining stock of a store in Hays Kansas. She got $6000 worth of shoes, for only $100, and donated them all!

Threads of Warning

Engineers from Tufts University, have created threads that change color when exposed to harmful gases. The dyed threads can be woven into clothes, to easily warn workers of dangerous environments. The threads are washable, and even work underwater, so they can be used over and over again!
