A man in Vancouver was playing his first round of golf for the season, and he filmed his own hole-in-one. It didn’t look like it was going to go in, after stopping near the hole. Then, an eagle landed and started messing with the ball, and finally dropped it in! Is that cheating?

NASA has released a new image from the Hubble Space Telescope, that shows 2 galaxies smashing into each other! Actually, they’ve been merging for a long time. Astronomer William Herschel first spotted the galaxies in 1784, thinking it was a single oddly-shaped one. Our own Milky Way galaxy, will collide with the Andromeda galaxy, in 4,000,000,000 years!

There’s good news for cancer patients in India. The government’s pharmaceutical department, has cut the prices for hundreds of anti-cancer medications. Some now cost 87% less! 2.2 million people suffering from cancer across India, will benefit from the cheaper drugs. The drug companies might make less money, but more lives will be saved!

High school seniors are thinking about graduation, college, and prom. In Texas, the Dallas Public Library gave away prom dresses, so kids can save money for college instead. The Fairy Tale Closet had hundreds of dresses donated by stores and local residents. Libraries often have more to offer, than books!

In Nebraska, Sgt. Mick Downing spotted a Ford Mustang chilling out. The car was made of snow! Someone had spent a lot of time carving every detail, and even spray painted it. The fake car also had a fake parking ticket. I wonder how long it will take to melt!

Gabrielle Masone is a 28 year-old Canadian inventor. She has developed contact lenses, that can correct color blindness! She hopes people can avoid wearing tinted glasses all the time. The prototype is ready to test on humans. Meanwhile, her company, Colorsmith Labs, is looking for investors to make the lenses available to everyone.

Billy’s Donuts didn’t have a very grand opening last week. The Texas donut shop was empty, and the owner’s son took a photo of his sad dad. After posting the photo to social media, their Instagram followers jumped from 71, to 99,000, and the Twitter post was retweeted 326,000 times! Billy’s Donuts is full of customers now!

Did you know it’s Groundwater Awareness Week? Groundwater is the water under the Earth’s surface. It’s found in the cracks and spaces, of underground rocks and soil. Large bodies of porous rock, called aquifers, can hold loads of water. That could be where your tap water is coming from! Even Mars had groundwater!
