Jodi Hendershot’s brother won $10,000 in the Montana lottery. Then her friend won the $25,000 a year, Lucky For Life jackpot. Jodi figured with all the luck in the air, she’d start playing the lottery also. It worked, because she just won over $9,000! I wonder which one of Jodi’s friends or family will win next!

Plastic Gas

What if all the plastic waste in the world, could be turned into fuel? Researchers have discovered a chemical process, that can convert polypropylene, a plastic used in toys and packaging, into gasoline and diesel fuel! They hope this will lead to increased recycling. Currently, most plastics end up in oceans and landfills.

18 people in Connecticut, just built a pickup truck that will make you look twice. The red 2019 Chevy Silverado, is made out of LEGOs! It took 2,000 hours to build, and used 334,544 pieces! The full-size replica only weighs half as much as a real truck, but that’s still over 3,300 pounds! Don’t drop it!

Today we celebrate 2 very different mammals. It’s World Whale Day, and World Pangolin Day! Pangolins live in Asia and Africa. They’re covered in scales, and curl into balls for protection. The nocturnal animals can have tongues that are longer than their bodies! Pangolins are endangered, and are the most smuggled animal in the world.

Amazing Whales

Whales are mammals that live in the ocean, and can range in size from the 8-foot dwarf sperm whale, to the 98-foot blue whale, the largest creature that ever lived! Whales are also endangered, and some species were nearly hunted to extinction. Whale songs can travel thousands of miles through the water!
