Happy Valentine’s Day! Saint Valentine was a priest put to death in the third century, but legends vary as to the reason why. His feast day evolved into a celebration of love in the Middle Ages. The best reason to celebrate today is to show appreciation to people in your life. And to eat chocolate!

The Joy of Painting

An art teacher in Texas, found a fun way to help her stressed-out students. Inspired by painter Bob Ross, Brady Sloane raised money to buy paints and wigs for her art classes. Then they watched an episode of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, and peacefully painted lots of happy little trees!

Satellite imagery from NASA, shows surprising progress on Earth. Over the last 20 years, our planet is actually greener! Despite deforestation in the Amazon and other parts of the world, there’s been an increase in vegetation. India and China have been leading the way, by planting millions of trees! Let’s keep up the good work!
