The banana keys were connected to electronic components, then plugged into a computer. You just have to be careful not to play with too much force, or you’ll squish the bananas!

Some chimpanzees at a zoo in Northern Ireland, showed off their smarts by escaping. They took branches that had fallen during a storm, and made a ladder to climb the wall of their enclosure. One wandered around the visitors, while the others stayed on the wall. They all soon returned on their own.

A dog in Minnesota, named Midnight, is now nicknamed Lassie, after leading his human to a woman who needed help! Tim Curfman had noticed his dog acting strangely, so he followed Midnight outside. The dog led him to his 87 year-old neighbor, Noreen, who had fallen during the winter storm! Midnight saved her life!

The sterilized poo-bricks take less energy to make, and keep houses cooler than clay bricks. They’d also keeps biosolids out of landfills!

Positive Tomorrows is a nonprofit organization, that’s giving underprivileged children a unique opportunity. Homeless kids in Oklahoma City, are helping to design a new school just for them! It will have areas for students and their parents to prepare meals and eat dinner, and personalized spaces where they can hang out with friends. Awesome!

Researchers in Australia and France, have found that honeybees can solve simple math problems. They just have to attend a few math classes first! Bees were taught to add or subtract, based on different colored shapes, then rewarded with sugar-water when they answered correctly. I wonder if they’ll learn fractions next!
