Ducks Enjoy An Ice Ride

A giant circle of ice, is spinning in the Presumpscot River in Maine. The ice disc is 300 feet across, and rotates slowly in a counter-clockwise direction. When water melts from the ice, it sinks and causes a vertical vortex. The local ducks don’t care how it happens. They just enjoy sitting on a merry-go-round!

Cats Get Their Own Apartment

When Troy Good moved into a new apartment recently, he discovered pets weren’t allowed. Since he was taking care of his daughter’s cats while she was away at college, that was a problem. He solved it by renting a 1500 dollar-a-month studio apartment for Tina and Louise! The California cats are reportedly good tenants.

Umm, You Forgot Your Pants

Over the weekend in New York, London, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and other cities around the world, the subways were filled with some absent-minded folks, who seemed to have forgotten their trousers! They were just participating in the annual No Pants Subway Ride. The Improv Everywhere group organized the event as a “celebration of silliness!”
