Celebrate all the strange things in the world, like how it’s impossible to sneeze with your eyes open, and the fact that mold makes some cheese taste delicious!

Today is World Octopus Day! Octopuses have 3 hearts, and 8 arms, not tentacles. Tentacles only have suckers at the tips. Octopuses are extremely intelligent, masters of camouflage, and escape artists! Today is also American Touch Tag Day. An octopus would be great at water tag! My favorite version is freeze tag. Tag, you’re it!

Who Will Try for 777?

At a charity event in China, piano players set a new world record for most pianos played simultaneously. 666 pianos were played at once, but there were only 639 people. Some of them must have been plating two pianos at the same time! They broke the previous record of 555 pianos, set in South Korea in 2007.

Squirrel Gets CPR

In Minnesota, a man named Jeremy struck a squirrel with his car. He stopped to check on the stunned squirrel, and tried to revive him by giving him CPR. The little guy was revived, and ran into the trees, leaving Jeremy and 2 police officers extremely happy! That was one lucky squirrel!
