Moss Balls Like a Schedule

Floating moss balls, also called marimo, are algae found in lakes in Japan and Iceland. The fuzzy green balls float to the surface at dawn, and sink at dusk. Scientists discovered they produce bubbles during photosynthesis that help them rise. They also have a circadian rhythm, rising with the sun instead of artificial light.

Its motto is, “One Humanity, One Unity.” The nation has a flag, 250,000 citizens, and territory the size of a loaf of bread. Asgardia-1 is a satellite.
