We celebrate Moon Day today because on July 20th 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moon. Fittingly, it’s also Space Exploration Day! Yep, That Beach is Made of Poop

Hawaii has beautiful white sand beaches. But that sand isn’t created like most sand, which is just teeny-tiny pieces of polished rock. The white sand is actually ground up corral that’s been pooped out by parrotfish! The colorful fish eat corral. One parrotfish can produce 800 pounds of calcium carbonate sand per year!

Bunny Takes a Field Trip

When 3 year-old Madison lost her favorite toy, Bunny, her mom went back to the store to see if anyone had found the stuffed animal. The manager, Mike Gayheart, discovered it had been thrown out! He and 3 coworkers went to the landfill, found Bunny, and reunited the broken-hearted child with her newly washed best friend!
