Officer Darren Derby is helping his police department become a true friend to the community, in Pittsfield Massachusetts. In the past, he’s helped build basketball courts and given away toys. Now, the department owns an ice cream truck. Operation Copsicle means officers can volunteer their time to give out free ice cream!

The country of Sweden set renewable energy goals to reach by the year 2030. They started building wind turbines to use clean wind power. It was so effective, they are on track to meet their energy goals by the end of this year instead! They are 12 years ahead of schedule! Good job Sweden!

Whale Shark Pool Parties

The whale shark is the biggest fish in the world, growing up to 61 feet long. They migrate alone, and can travel over 12,000 miles before gathering with other whale sharks in a few locations around the world. Scientists found they prefer shallow water next to steep slopes dropping into very deep water, like a giant pool!
