The Electrorana limoae is a newly discovered species of frog, but it’s already extinct. The tiny frog was among 4 found embedded in amber in Myanmar. The frogs lived 99 million years ago! They inhabited a tropical ecosystem where things decompose quickly, so finding a skeleton so well-preserved is extremely rare.
