65 year-old Scott Howard made a full time job of skiing this season. He has skied every day for 8 to 9 hours at Killington Resort in Vermont, and plans to continue until it closes at the end of May. He’s already skied over 6 million vertical feet this season, which happens to be a world record!

Misha and Blizzard are snow leopards at the Sacramento Zoo in California. They are also parents to a new baby snow leopard! You can’t visit Misha and her cub right now because they need their privacy, but he’ll get a name and be introduced to the public later this summer.

A giant stinky carcass washed ashore in the Philippines, but no one knows what it is yet. The 20 foot-long creature is covered with hair-like strands. For now, it’s been named globster. Officials took DNA samples to help identify it, which means the remains can be buried, along with the overwhelming stench!

A jellyfish that lives deep in the ocean’s aphotic zone, has eluded scientists for years. But they’ve finally captured the Deepstaria enigmatica on camera. It lives in almost complete darkness, has no tentacles, and looks like a plastic bag floating in the water. Hercules, a remotely operated vehicle, was the lucky photographer!
