Big Feet Spotted in Texas

A 15 year-old Texas boy has the biggest teenage feet in the world! The 6-foot-3 teenager had his feet measured for the Guinness World Record, and they’re 33.1 centimeters long. Hunter Harrison’s size 18 feet have a ways to grow if he wants to beat the record for biggest feet at any age: 38.1 centimeters, or size 29!

Surfing Amazing Waves

Brazilian surfer Rodrigo Koxa is an official world record holder. At the 2018 Big Wave Awards, it was announced that his ride on an 80 foot wave in Nazare Portugal last November, was the highest wave ever surfed! His competitor, Britain’s Andrew Cotton, won the Wipeout of the Year Award on a similar wave that day. He’s still recovering!

Toxic Caterpillars Take Over

There’s a caterpillar invasion around London right now, and touching the crawly critters can be dangerous. The toxic caterpillars are larvae of the oak processionary moth, which feed on oak trees. Their poisonous hairs can cause rashes, eye problems, and breathing difficulties if you even inhale airborne hairs. Don’t go near them!

Transformers, Roll Out!

Japanese engineers have created a real Transformer! J-deite RIDE is a 13 foot-tall robot that turns into a vehicle, just like an Autobot. It can even transform while 2 people are sitting inside! J-deite RIDE travels 37 miles per hour as a car, but walks only 328 feet per hour. Speed is not its best feature, but it’s still awesome!

Drone Racing for Kids

In Palatine Illinois, Go Drone X is introducing the sport of drone racing to kids. Gregg Novosad started the league to teach kids about STEM: science, technology, engineering and math. They learn to fix broken drones, fly them using first person view, and race drones around tracks through gates and obstacles!
