In Palatine Illinois, Go Drone X is introducing the sport of drone racing to kids. Gregg Novosad started the league to teach kids about STEM: science, technology, engineering and math. They learn to fix broken drones, fly them using first person view, and race drones around tracks through gates and obstacles!

A new baby was born at the Blackpool Zoo in England, on the same day that Prince William and Kate welcomed their new son! The zoo baby was a double-humped Bactrian camel, born to mama Tibet. Both human and camel babies were named Prince Louis, but only the human one is in line to be King of England.

The world’s largest dog photo shoot must have been fun to watch. 108 dogs had their portraits taken in Los Angeles California, to celebrate filming the final scene of “Superpower Dogs.” All of the canine subjects were also stars in the documentary about dogs. I can’t wait for the movie to come out!

Zach Anner has cerebral palsy, but the disability doesn’t stop him from enjoying extreme sports. To raise awareness for Wheels For Humanity, an organization that gives wheelchairs to the poor, Zach went volcano surfing in Nicaragua. His friends carried him up the side of Cerro Negro, then they slid down the outside of the volcano on wooden boards!

The Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, in Colombia, has a clever canine campus resident. Negro the dog watched students pay for cookies with money at the campus shop. One day, he showed up at the shop with a green leaf, to pay for a cookie of his own! Now he buys a cookie every day with a leaf!

Here’s an example: “I am a coal-truck, by a broken heart, I have no sound, the sound of my heart, I am not”. AI poetry might not be incredible, but it’s just as good as some poetry humans write!
