It took 600 years, but the Medieval cheater was finally discovered. An archaeological site in Norway has uncovered many dice from the Middle Ages over the years. One of the wooden 6-sided dice just found, had two sets of 5s and 4s, instead of sides with 1 and 2 dots. Somebody was using it to cheat! Shame on them.

Wolferman’s gourmet bakery wanted to make something outstanding for the Pear Blossom Festival in Medford, Oregon. So they made a 1149 pound cinnamon roll! It easily broke the world record in its 6 foot by 9 foot pan. Since they didn’t have a big enough oven, they cooked it over propane burners. Now I want a cinnamon roll for breakfast!

The Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina has baby lions for the first time in 10 years! Lion mama Thabisa had 3 cubs on Tuesday! Thabisa’s sister, Lindelani, is also expecting a litter. The babies won’t be introduced to the public until they’re 3 months old. That zoo can be proud of its growing pride of lions!

Los Angeles is trying a new tactic to beat the California heat. They are painting the streets gray! The light-colored sealant prevents the asphalt from retaining heat, and can reduce surface temperatures by 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooler streets reduce the air temperatures in urban areas, which also saves electricity used for air conditioning. Cool!

A man in Israel lost his Siberian husky and filed a police report. When the police called to say they’d found a dog matching its description, he told them he could identify it over the phone with a simple test. They played the theme song from the kid’s show, Arthur, and the dog howled along with his favorite song!

Loggerhead sea turtles have started laying eggs on beaches in Florida and North Carolina. When the babies hatch, they will swim 8000 miles by themselves, in the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. They’ll return as adults to the beach where they hatched, or at least one with a similar magnetic field!

If you happen to be in England on April 22nd, you need to see this. Runners will attempt to break 90 world records at the Virgin Money London Marathon! They include running the fastest on stilts, and dressed in costumes such as a toilet, tree, emoji, insect, and pencil! Guinness judges will be there to verify any new records.
