Is Hostess serious, or just pranking everyone? The snack food company posted a picture of a new variety of Twinkies. What do you think of Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich flavor? The weird combination might be okay as a sandwich, but a filling for sponge cake? We’ll have to wait and see!

Colors Still Don’t Matter

LEGO bricks might feel like Braille, with their raised dots, but the instruction manuals are no help to blind people. Matthew Shifrin has been translating manuals into Braille and audio instructions on his website, LEGO for the Blind. Now, the LEGO Group agreed to develop Matthew’s ideas, to launch more audio and braille manuals!

Compostable Clothes

The Vollebak company is making t-shirts out of wood pulp, printed with ink made from algae. They’re made with recycled water, and the eucalyptus, beech, and spruce trees used to make the yarn, are sustainably sourced. At the end of the Plant and Algae T-Shirt’s lifespan, you compost it by burying it!

A Zoo for Trees

Swiss artist Klaus Littmann, is drawing attention to the Earth’s changing climate with his latest art installation. He’s turned a football stadium in Austria, into a forest. Littmann filled the Wörthersee Stadium with 300 trees weighing up to 6 tons each. “For Forest- The Unending Attraction of Nature,” will be replanted after the exhibit ends.

That’s the Spirit!

A Florida elementary school student wanted to represent his favorite team on his school’s College Colors Day, so he made his own University of Tennessee Volunteers clothing. He wrote U-of-T on a piece of paper and stuck it to a shirt. The University loved his creativity, and is making it an official design!

Put Your Hands Up

An Ohio fairground reported an unusual theft. Someone stole a roller coaster! A traffic camera recorded the Go-Gator kiddie coaster loaded onto a flatbed trailer, with a pick-up truck driving it away. The roller coaster, worth $50,000, should be hard to hide, so hopefully the thief will be caught!
