It’s Sandcastle Day, so get to a beach and start building! It’s going to take you a while if you want to beat the record for the world’s biggest sandcastle. That one is in Germany, and it’s nearly 58 feet tall! They were smart, and built it far away from the high tide line!

Lost Leg, Again

Ariel Rigney lost her leg in a car accident as a teenager, and continued life with a prosthetic leg. While rafting on the Clackamas River in Oregon, she lost that leg too! She posted about her lost limb on Facebook. Scuba-diver Eric Ganter was looking for its lost owner, and the two were reunited!

See-Saw Down the Barriers

Architects Ronald Rael and Virginia San Fratello created a great way for kids to play together, even though a wall was separating them. They installed see-saws through the border fence between the United States and Mexico. Kids have fun together, no matter where they were born. It’s a good lesson to teach adults!
