Did you know fireflies are decreasing in number? Also known as lightning bugs, the glowing beetles are a victim of light pollution. If you are lucky enough to share a habitat with fireflies, you can help them by turning off your outdoor lights. They need to see their own lights in order to communicate!

Fortnite Spawns Teen Millionaires

The Fortnite World Cup has a winner, and it’s a 16-year-old from the United States. Kyle Giersdorf, playing as Bugha, took the top prize of $3,000,000 in the solo competition. Norwegian 16-year-old Emil Bergquist Pedersen, and Austrian 17-year-old David Wang, playing as Nyhrox and Aqua, won the duo championship. They had to split their $3,000,000!

David Kovari set a world record for most countries visited in 24 hours by bicycle, by traveling through Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. He had to travel 310 miles, with no time for sightseeing!

Sometimes, the best products come from nature. Sarah Tiu is using straws made from rolled-up coconut leaves in her restaurant, after seeing them used in a cafe in the Philippines.
