10 Year-Old Summits El Cap

Last month, 10 year-old Selah Schneiter spent 5 days rock-climbing in Yosemite National Park. They weren’t just any old rocks. She was the youngest person to summit El Capitan, taking the extremely difficult nose route. During the 3000-foot climb, she had to spend 4 nights sleeping on a shelf attached to the rock wall! That sounds crazy!

T-Rexes Race to the Finish

Last week in Washington state, a stampede of dinosaurs thundered down the track at Emerald Downs Racetrack. 2 dozen people in T-Rex costumes raced toward the finish line with their heads flopping around, some struggling to simply stay on their feet. The dinosaur named Regular Unleaded won the race, followed by Rex Girlfriend.

24 Expensive Grapes

The most expensive bunch of grapes ever, were just sold in Japan. A cluster of 24 Ruby Roman grapes, were auctioned to the top bidder for $11,000! The variety of grape is known for its juiciness and high sugar content. The buyer paid 1.2 million yen, in honor of the 12 years since Ruby Roman grapes were developed.
