T-Rexes Race to the Finish

Last week in Washington state, a stampede of dinosaurs thundered down the track at Emerald Downs Racetrack. 2 dozen people in T-Rex costumes raced toward the finish line with their heads flopping around, some struggling to simply stay on their feet. The dinosaur named Regular Unleaded won the race, followed by Rex Girlfriend.

24 Expensive Grapes

The most expensive bunch of grapes ever, were just sold in Japan. A cluster of 24 Ruby Roman grapes, were auctioned to the top bidder for $11,000! The variety of grape is known for its juiciness and high sugar content. The buyer paid 1.2 million yen, in honor of the 12 years since Ruby Roman grapes were developed.

Baby Sharks in the School

Cookham England might not be near the ocean, but it was recently full of sharks. The Holy Trinity School broke a world record, by having 350 people sing the Baby Shark song, while doing the associated dance. They should get together with the 2869 Malaysian students, who learned to play Baby Shark on their ukuleles!

Researchers have been studying how video games affect creativity. Compared to watching TV or playing a race car video game, playing Minecraft helped participants become more creative. Minecraft is like a virtual Lego world where you can build anything, except you’ll never step on a painful brick in the middle of the night!
