A fun holiday activity is making a gingerbread house. The cookie walls and decorations made from icing and candy look too beautiful to eat. But you’d have a hard time eating the biggest gingerbread house. It was built in Texas in 2013 and was 60 feet long. You’d have to live in it instead!

They contained poisonous cyanide to dissolve gold, blowtorches to make glass test tubes, radioactive uranium to practice measuring radiation, and carcinogenic asbestos to dust for fingerprints. The World Surf League is in charge of measuring the height of sea swells, for 2 surfers who are trying to claim a world record, for riding the biggest wave. British Tom Butler, and Russian Andrew Karr, both surfed a massive wave in Nazare Portugal, estimated to be over 100 feet high!

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio, needs help naming their new baby elephant. You can vote for a name on the zoo’s website, choosing Darcy, Ellie, Lizzie, or Kobie. The Asian elephant calf was born to mom Phoebe, earlier this month. Baby elephants weigh about 200 pounds at birth!
