A group of best friends in Texas wanted to grow old together, so they decided to build a house to share. Their plans changed, and instead, they built one community building, and teeny-tiny houses next door to each other! It’s the perfect way to have your own space, but still spend time with friends!

Today is Buy A Musical Instrument Day! Would you like to play piano? Maybe you’d prefer the violin or saxophone, so you can carry your instrument to school. If you want something to annoy the neighbors, try the drums or bagpipe. You could also get a pocket-sized harmonica or nose flute! Make some music!

Salty Power Supply

Germany uses renewable energy sources, like wind and sun, to power much of the country, but they still use fossil fuels like oil and coal, as a backup. A new salt-based technology could change that. When a substance called quicklime is exposed to water, it stores heat. It’s like a battery made of salt!

I Am Cardboardman

9th grader Ja’shon Lambert has been impressing people with his Ironman suit. He wanted to make an outfit to wear to the Avengers Endgame movie, so he created a suit using cardboard and a hot glue gun! He layered cardboard pieces together for an amazing costume, but he’d better stay out of the rain!

Don’t Pop It!

Last week, students at an Ohio high school had a lesson in Bubble-ology, with Gary Pearlman, also known as Dr. U R Awesome. He’s a bubble expert who holds 6 bubble-related world records. Math and physics students were attempting to break the world record for the largest indoor bubble, which was 65 cubic feet.
