Armistice Art After 100 Years

Every night until November 11th, the Tower of London is lighting 10,000 torches around the tower’s moat. The art display, called “Deepening Shadow: The Tower Remembers,” commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. The flames will be lit one by one, gradually making a powerful circle of light in the darkness.

Some people love trying new recipes for Thanksgiving, but this might be going too far. Pringles is making a box with 8 new potato chip flavors: turkey, creamed corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie. Unfortunately, they’re still in testing, so you can’t buy them yet!

S.T.E.A.M.y Cappuccino

Today is Cappuccino Day, a delicious version of coffee made with espresso and foamy steamed milk. Speaking of steam, it’s also National STEAM Day, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The day was created to inspire kids to explore those subjects, for possible careers in the future.
