Young monk seals have been getting 2-foot-long eels stuck up their noses! Scientists aren’t sure why it’s happening, and it doesn’t seem to hurt the seals. They eat eels, so it could be a result of hunting eels trapped in holes. But eel snorting could also just be a new teenage seal fad!

Kellogg’s Corn Flakes aren’t just for breakfast anymore. The cereal company’s reduced its food waste in the UK by 12.5%, by turning it’s rejected flakes into beer. Pieces that are too big or small, become ingredients in “Throw Away IPA”, brewed by Seven Bro7hers Brewery. They’ll also donate 10 pence per can, to the Fareshare Charity.

Passengers riding the ferry from Vancouver Island British Columbia, in Canada, were treated to a spectacular view. Their ship was being escorted by 200 dolphins! The dolphin pod was leaping and frolicking alongside the boat. Passenger Henry Irizawa filmed them and shared his video, so we can all enjoy seeing the dolphins play!

China is preparing to launch the Chang 4 mission tomorrow. The Lunar mission will soft-land a spacecraft on the dark side of the moon! A rover will explore above and below the surface, and perform radio-astronomical studies. The moon’s far side faces away from Earth, so don’t bother trying to spot it with your telescope!

A huge cave has been discovered in Canada, in British Columbia’s Wells Gray Park. It was spotted from a helicopter, with an opening 328 feet long. The massive opening inspired the cave’s nickname, the Sarlaac Pit, named after the Star Wars creature. Geoscientists believe it may have been covered by year-round snow until 20 years ago.

A couple in Alaska were confused, when their doorbell went off at 1:30 a.m.! There was no one at the door, so they thought someone was playing a prank. When they checked the footage of their home security camera, they found a moose had backed into the doorbell. It was a moose caboose!
