Saturn’s Beautiful Auroras

The Hubble Space Telescope Imaging Spetrograph has been hard at work. It’s sending incredible images of Saturn’s Aurora! The glowing auroras can’t be seen in visible light, but by using ultraviolet light, they are clear and beautiful. Saturn’s main auroral ring is likely wind-generated, but other parts are still a mystery.

Torta Invasion

There was a giant torta in Mexico City this week. The world’s longest torta sandwich was 229 feet long, and used 60 different ingredients! Thousands of flatbread pans were used in the annual feat. They’ve been making a bigger sandwich every year for the last 15 years!

People in San Diego California were perplexed to see a line of bright lights appear in the night sky. People thought they looked like balls of fire floating in the sky. Could it be aliens? No, it was just the Navy dropping flares during a training exercise. All that excitement for nothing!
