A life-sized mask from the Palenque Palace in Mexico, has been unearthed by archaeologists. It’s believed to represent King K’inich Janaab’ Pakal. Pakal the Great reigned for 68 years, beginning at the age of 12 in the year 615. The mask may have been architectural decoration, and represents the king in his old age.

In a new study, researchers found that goats prefer to interact with people who are happy and smiling. The goats were shown black and white picture of people, and they liked the happy faces, similar to studies done with dogs and horses. I’d rather interact with happy people too! Wouldn’t you?

Earlier this month, the world’s tiniest diamond heist was caught on video. A New York gem dealer filmed an ant, stealing a tiny jewel from a pile of diamonds. The diamond is as big as the ant! I wonder if the ant was a jewel thief, or just thought he found a pretty rock!

Last week in Wales, the East Midland Ambulance Service asked people to communicate with paramedics if their driveways were blocked. This week, the Welsh Ambulance Service came back to a message on their windshield. The sweet note with money attached said, “Thank you for blocking my driveway to save a life. Refreshments on me.”

The Bounciest Fun Run on Earth raises money for Love To Nic, an organization that comforts the homeless, and PEARLS, a group that mentors girls.
