Amazing Tree of 40 Fruit

Artist Sam Van Aken grafted the branches of different trees onto one tree, creating a Tree of 40 Fruit! He intended to save rare fruit varieties that might be lost forever when an orchard was closing down. In spring, the tree blooms in many different colors, then produces plums, peaches, nectarines, cherries and almonds!

London Goes Solar

In England, the City of London has set a lofty goal. By October, they plan to get all their energy from renewable sources! The city will install solar panels on government-owned buildings, buy clean energy from the grid, and invest in other renewable energy projects. Maybe they’ll inspire other cities to do the same!
