Students at the Subbiah Vidyalayam Girls School, in Thoothukudi India, are going straight to the source to reduce plastic packaging. In 2 weeks, the girls collected over 20,000 snack wrappers, and mailed them to the snack producers for safe disposal. They included a letter asking for eco-friendly packaging, so they could savor the products without guilt.
